TEC7 FAST is an adhesive with high initial adhesion and rapid development of maximum strength. It reaches maximum strength on porous materials in just 15 minutes, whilst it takes 2 hours for non-porous materials. It is suitable for any application in the construction, healthcare and general maintenance sectors, with an initial bond strength of 250 kg/m². Safe for use on all materials such as natural stone, mirrors, insulation, etc., it is ideal for countless applications including floor, wall and ceiling profiles, metal studs on concrete (plasterboard), shower panels (PVC, acrylic), fitting of components and plinths for bespoke furniture, fixing furniture to walls, kitchen fittings (worktops, splashbacks, etc.), steps, door frames, soffits, door leaves, etc., and the installation of cable ducts on walls and ceilings. It cures down to -10 °C and exhibits excellent resistance to UV rays and the elements, making it suitable for outdoor use as well.
Apply to a clean, stable surface that is free from dust and grease.
• Test adhesion on plastics, powder coatings, exotic woods and bituminous materials. Tec7 Fast does not adhere, or adheres only to a limited extent, to PP, PE, PTFE and silicone.
• Apply Tec7 Fast in lines, not in thick clumps. Dots will take longer to cure. When bonding two impermeable materials, it is recommended to lightly moisten one of the surfaces.
• Ideal adhesive thickness: 0.1 mm to 3 mm. On porous surfaces with an adhesive layer 0.25 mm thick, the bond is load-bearing after approximately 15 minutes and fully cured after 24 hours. With thicker adhesive layers and non-porous substrates, the curing process will take longer.
• Use vertical adhesive strips to prevent the build-up of moisture and dust.
• Can be painted over once a film has formed. Do not use with alkyd-based lacquers and paints.
• Use Tec7 Cleaner to clean tools and/or remove any uncured Tec7 residue.
• Once cured, Tec7 Fast can only be removed by mechanical means.
