Chemical stream cleaner for removing corrosive slag and deposits of limestone or other such things (e.g., machining residues such as shavings, pastes, etc.). Helps prevent corrosion phenomena, maintain system efficiency and reduce fuel consumption. Useful on new systems, essential on existing systems that are not compromised or excessively dirty, before replacing system components (radiators, boilers, piping, exchangers, etc.).
Before the system is put into operation, FERRONEX should be dosed at the rate of 1 to 2 % to the total liquid and circulated, preferably at normal operating temperature, with all valves open and the pump set at maximum flow for a minimum period of 1 hour or until the run is completed satisfactorily (max. 4 to 6 hours). After cleaning, the product should be drained and purged until the water flows clear. Upon filling, the system should be treated with ATIGEL / ALIGEL antifreeze (minimum 30% vol.) or FILMAX series anticorrosive. FERRONEX is suitable for use with all common metals and alloys. In all cases follow the technical requirements according to UNI 8065:2019, UNI 8364/07 and BS 7593/92 standards.
