Anti-corrosive, dielectric and high mechanical protection bands suitable for joints, TE, tight radius bends.
Clean the parts to be coated and remove any traces of dampness. Pass the flame over the area to be coated. Wrap the band tightly by making the ends overlap for a width proportional to the diameter (approx. 10% of the width). Secure the end flap with tape. Heat all around with a hot-air nozzle or simple gas chalumeau until both sides of the tape will see a trickle of adhesive coming out. Suitable for joints, TE branches, bends, irregular surfaces, ventilation and air conditioning ducts.
